With a beautiful chiseled head, big dark eyes like his sire, long hooky neck, and smooth topline, Shakar is a very elegant looking colt. Shakar is already very tall and with both of his parents being over 15.1h, Shakar should grow to be just as big and powerful. Shakar's sire, Ansata Shukri, is one of the few Ansata Sokar sons in this country, as Ansata Sokar was exported Ponnath Arabians, Germany. Ansata Shukri is a grandson of the legendary Imperial Madheen and Asjah Ibn Faleh who was Race Horse of the Year 1977 & 1980 and also a Champion in English Pleasure, Native Costume and Halter. Shakar's dam is a granddaughter of Alaa el Din and Gamal Al Arab.
UPDATE: Shakar’s dam, Mountian Fyre, was recently sold to Kinndah Arabians, Saudi Arabia. With only one full brother, Shakar is now a very rare jewel here in the United States.
Shakar has the look and the pedigree to be an outstanding performance horse and should also pass on those attributes to his get.
